New bus service from Queanbeyan begins January 23
Getting to the Airport Business Parks and Canberra Airport from Queanbeyan is about to get a whole lot easier as Transport NSW will introduce more services from Monday 23 January across its network with better connections to key locations and new Sunday services.
Services for Route 834 from Queanbeyan to Brindabella Business Park, Majura Park and Canberra Airport will increase while the new bus network includes better cross-border connections with other locations across ACT, as well as improved services to Queanbeyan Station, Canberra Airport, Service NSW and TAFE.
Every day, customers travelling from Jerrabomberra and Googong to Canberra will save up to an hour in journey time under the new changes, and residents in the growing suburb of Tralee will receive town bus services for the first time.
There will also be improved cross-border services to key destinations in Canberra including Civic, Woden and Majura Park and coordinated transfers at Queanbeyan Interchange to provide greater travel options with less waiting.
